Last Saturday, I was at my grandmother's house with my mother.
It was a warm and relax afternoon. The sun was much gentle that day, plus the light breeze, everthing is almost perfect if there's smooth jazz song playing in the air.
Couldn't appreciate this afternoon more as Kuantan had been an oven for the past few days.
Darling little pink flower blooming on the starfruit trees.
Starfruits wrapped in plastic are about to ripe.
Fresh starfruits! My after dinner dessert are these. I even have fresh starfruit juice on the next day!
This dried logs were big rambutan tree with thick layers of leaves, tall and wide, huge enough to shade the big house. Uncountable bunches of ripe, red rambutan hanging on the tree waiting for us to pluck. Plucking those round, sweet and juicy rambutan with my family member is one of the memorable moments of my life. Imagine you can break the shell once it fell from the trees, juicy rambutan juice pouring into your mouth on your first bite. The satisfaction you get at that moment is irreplacable, not what you can buy with money.
Now, the trees are dead. Leaves fallen and swept away. Extra logs and sticks are chopped and thrown away. The roots are still grabbing firmly the land of the backyard. Leaving this thick, solid wood log and happy memories that this tree had given to this family for few generation.
There's a pet in my grandma's house. A chameleon. I never like it before. Reptiles, ugggh.
It is the biggest chameleon I've ever seen.
Picked up a baby's cap and find it quite cute. Not sure it is Madelyn's or Melinda's (they're my uncle baby daughters). Tried to take a picture of me wearing it but it failed horribly. So I forced mom to wear it and took this pic. She wasn't aware that I'm taking picture as she was too focus chatting with my grandmother. She roared at me when she realized that. Very cute isn't she?
有着满满回忆的外婆家。尽管孩子们已经长大到外面住了,但是满满的回忆还是带不走的。
Later that night, I accompanied mom to Tzu Chi's Charity Musical Show. Not bad though.
