Mom came to kL for her CNY shopping, and so I did mine too.
Pity mom, she was sick on the first day she come, even lost her voice and till now, she has not recover yet -.-
I am coughing madly now, I think she spread the bacteria to me. Sigh. I hate coughs!!!!!!!! Torturing =(
Anyway, for the first day, we went to our nearest mall, The Gardens & MidValley. It was mainly HER shopping day because kie and I didn't get anything at the end of the day.
We went to Robinson to get her ShuUemura eye shadow which is out of stock in MidV.
And when women walks into a cosmetic department. Various of samples, choices, brands, and friendly promother whom promote their stuff like they have the best one. Women will try things around and ended up buying a lot of things which is even not in their shopping list. Like my mom, hers was just a cube of eyeshadow.
After paying, we're qualified for a Lucky Dip!
So Kie & I went to the Customer Service department while Mom choosed to stay at first floor to look around. On the way there, kie was wondering if our present will be a pen, sweets or notebooks. Then both of us have the same opinion that Robinson isn't Tunas Manja (and Tunas Manja give out big hampers every month). So we'll definitely get something better ;)
So this is the lucky dip. Before I put my hand inside there, I prayed : Give me stg real good.
Pulled my hand out, unfold the paper, and there stated "RM50 Beauty Vouchers."
Teehee ;) RM50 means a lot for me. The girl at the counter said : "Waw! You are very lucky! You got one of the biggest price." When she's taking 5 piece of RM10 vouchers from the drawer, I asked her what else big price they have. She said is a bottle of fragnance.
wooh, okay, well, since u said that, then I trust you that I just got one of the big price.
On our way back to join my mom, I'm wondering, what can I get for RM50 in Robinson? Everything is approaching RM100 or even higher! Took a pretty porcelain cup, and it is RM130 -.-
So if we're able to use the voucher we still have to pay RM80 for the cup. This vouchers doesn't help much actually. Somemore, we're limited to use this at the cosmetic department.
If this voucher turns out to be Giant's, this will be one of the happy thing happened on me! I can buy ALOT of CHIPS and CHOCOLATES!!!!!
Not that I can't afford that, is just "FAT" is no longer a reason that can stop me from buying chips and chocolates. I have to make price a reason to stop me from buying that.
With vouchers, I can get it, guilt-free!!
xD I am making myself smiling and happy by imagining it.
Wookay back to Robinson.
Kie & I are in dilemma of what to buy in cosmetics department because we don't need anything. And we don't want to buy just because we have to use the vouchers. So at this particular moment mom came out with this brilliant idea that she'll trade the voucher with CASH $$! She'll get herself something she needs.
Weeee! Now both of us can buy anything we want!
End of the story !
Oh ya, I know about the earthquake at Haiti. Again, heart-breaking stories are being wide-reported by medias. I dare not to read all the news and the photos.
After Tsunami, 911, SiChuan, Taiwan, Katrinas, and recently the snow storm in Europe that thousands of people freeze to death.
Why oh why human have to suffer from all these things? It is too much.
How long it takes for the victims to recover from its aftermath?
How long will it takes for them to get the facilities back, to get their home back, and to move on from the lost?
Losing someone you love, no, in this case, is not someone, is losing so many people that you love in a day, just like tearing your souls apart into pieces and takes a life time to heal.
To those who falls out of love, you are LUCKY because you don't lose them in person. They are not dead, they are still alive and you'll get to talk to them whenever you wants. It may be heart-breaking and when you've healed, there's no scar.
But for victim who lost their families in a day, remarkable and painful scar will be there forever. they'll never get to talk to them anymore, the dead one will only be alive in their memories.
So if compared, aren't you waaaaaaaay more luckier than them?
Malaysian are seriously very LUCKY that disastrous thing never happen here. Not now or in the future.
So, lucky me.
