happy 21st birthday to me !

I can't believe this day has finally reached.

I'm now 21 years old.
twenty one !
(I'm still in the ' I'm twenty ' mood. Sigh.)

Funny. this feelings is hard to describe, should it be sad or happy?
I was feeling blue for this day because I am no long the small daddy and mummy's little girl.
Instead, I should start to think about my future and enrich myself with knowledge instead of what I was doing in th past 20 years.

My mom travelled to most of the hit tourist spot by the age of 30. US, Canada (3 times!) Europe, Australia, blablabla u name it! Can I do like what she did? How am I going to accomplish it? By thinking all of these question made me feel depressed.

Don't worry, I'm very good in releasing my stress and feelings. That is why you see me as a happy go lucky girl.

Put aside all these emo thoughts, I'm going to talk about my beautiful big day.
30th September, sharing this beautiful birth date with 2 friends and ta-da Wu Yan Zhu!

I've been waiting this day since my 20th birthday and I've been talking to mom of having one big party but it eventually didn't success because of the dengue and leptospirosis thingy. I'm still a patient on that day. Lucky I am still alive to enjoy my 21st birthday.

Anyway, my day was filled with bless and love from family and friend. That's enough for me.

When clock hits 12am my phone starts to beep, wishes pouring in with sms and phone calls, not to mention all the wall posts in Facebook.

That day I woke up at noon, slacking around the house until 3pm like that, bathed and put on a casual dress then went out to run some errands.
One of it is to redeem my birthday present from my parents.
A NEW SMART PHONE! HTC DESIRE! *my dream phone!*

Parent was asking me to get an iPhone 4 as it a hit that time but I have to wait for weeks to get that. Good reason to me to tell my parent so I got it!

I bought it from Maxis, RM1500 with 1.5Gb data plan.

Personally, I still think HTC Desire is the best. Running on Android leh. Can personalized somemore. wtf. No offence to apple fans!

Bought this during the shopping session in Singapore. Mom got herself one, too. But hers is bigger and she likes it very much, it's practical for her as she move around the town to work and she has to bring a lot of things with her.

After that the phone, I went to collect another present from the special one.

A bangle from Swarovski. Thank you so much. Didn't expect this, I love it and it's really beautiful.

At night, I followed my parents to attend the Rotary Club Fellowship Night. Sister clubs from Macau joined the dinner. Their purpose of visiting Malaysia is to attend the installation Night which held few days later.

Dinner started late, as mentioned in previous post I was hungry all the time, even forgot today is my birthday. What was in my mind is when will the food be served.

Aunty Chai Hong get to know today is my birthday so she ordered fried chicken for me!

In the middle of the dinner a waitress push a cart with a cake into the dining hall, I though it was a cake for the Rotary Club till I saw 2 big candles and a small one with my name on it.

I was surprised and WTF, my dad is going to ask everyone to celebrate with me. oh my I was so scared. FYI, I have a small phobia of celebrating something about myself in front of everyone.I kept telling my brother:" can cancel the birthday celebration ah, I dont want!" He smiled and did nothing.


My parents surprised me. Birthday song is played and got wished by everyone. ;)

=) I left around 10pm and went Cherating Steak House with Shen Yee aka Hamyu and Shyong.

Had a lil chilling session with them. I had oxtail soup and lobster soup. My tongue was badly hurt by the soup and if affected me for 2 weeks.



Back to KL, my beloved course mates was so thoughtful, knowing that I can't eat oily food so they brought me to a steamboat restaurant.


Momo Paradise ;) A farm-themed steamboat restaurant. Got taiwan feel.Had a celebration together with Jasmine. Her birthday is on the first day of September and mine is last ;) What a coincident.
They gave me a super nice present.

A SET OF MAHJONG! Woooooooooooooo that's what I'm hoping all the time. Not that I'm soo addicted into mahjong but I love the feelings of playing with friends. ;)
It's not the actual size, about 2/3 of the normal ones but still nice to play with.
Sneaky ET changed the bad behind me into a big present. LOL No wonder he kept walking behind me. Even told me a lame reason with a sms. haha.

I think Soo Yee and I benefits the most from the present, poor thing Jimmy and Teresa had to accompany us to play.
FYI, they are my best mates in hostel.

I took about 10 photos of the key chain with Tutu but it failed everytime. Because Tutu can't sit still and she wanted to bite the key chain!
