My birthday eve dinner is FOC!

Reetha always wanted to go La Bodega as it is located beside Coffee Bean, and when night comes, it is always fully packed by customer.
It become a contrast for Coffee Bean as the business after 8pm is not really good, but for La Bodega, it turns to be a happening place.

And the people (I mean waitress, chef, managers and etc) in La Bogega have been keeping an eye on Reetha and maybe me as well. She even received a rose from a guy over there.

So we were talking about when to go there but our time crashed because our shift is different until she came out on this idea :"Hey! Why not, we go there on your birthday eve! I am having my off day and you are taking early shift!"
Bingo! Good idea!
As I hadn't plan anything for my birthday, why not I go out with her and have fun?

Thanks to Reetha's friend, we are going to get 50percent off for whole table.
Here's the fun part, I appreciate the generousity of the head chef and manager so much.
When they know we are coming for dinner, somemore one of them is celebrating birthday, they decided to give whole table charged free!

Isn't that awesome?! I am very delighted by knowing there is 50% discount, but now, FREE?!
I don't have to pay a single cent!
They are so nice, aren't they?

So people who attended this dinner is of course, Reetha, Shyong and a friend of reetha. I didn't ask anyone to come along because she had booked a table of four, and it is free of charge so I don't feel like asking a lot of ppl to join us, I don't want them to think I am taking advantages on them. =p

La Bodega is a restaurant that sells mainly Spanish food and wine. Their coffee are nice too, but Coffee Bean are the best.

She bought that for 5Aussie, it is so cheap till she has no intention on trying it.

They are telling us that they are serving spanish food!

They even have photostate Spanish newspapers and magazines for us to read.
Eeeer o.o as if we understand.

Time to order drinks!

I told the waiter, Azlan :
"I am going to be 20 and I want to try something new, a breakthrough.
Erm, something with alcohol, but light alcohol pls, can u recommend some martinis or cocktails or whatever to me?"

He served me an apple flavoured cocktail.
Since this is my first time taking drinks with alcohol so this will be the best one.

The ice looks like glass shattered in my drinks, and it look nice under lights.

Shyong's lychee flavoured.

I told shyong the drink taste weird.
He explained that is the taste of alcohol.
Soon or later I will get used to it and I'll take it as tasty and there's chance I will get crazy with it. wtf.

Reetha's friend ordered a small tapas, which is a signature dish from La Bodega.Surprisingly it came out in big size. haha. The chef purposely make it big.
It is actually bread and some dishes with special sauce.

I never had Spanish food before.
So I am not sure whether it is a food from Spain or it is modified.

Bread + Muttonball + Eggplant + Mushroom (all served with special sauce) = Tapas!

Spanish ayam satay.

Spaghetti. Ah, too bad it is abit spicy, if not I will finish the whole bowl!

I told you the people in La Bodega are lovely.
Reetha's friend actually ordered small portion of spagheti and small tapas, but they are so nice enough to cook us big portion and whole table of food!

*Burp* 4 of us cannot finish the food.
They said we can take away.
But, who will eat it when we bring back?
No, not my sister as I don't think she wanna eat it.
Reetha & Shyong's roommate? they will be sleeping by the time we go back.
So we just left there.
I sensed guilt, they are so nice to cook extra food for us but we can't finish it.

Then they served me a coffee for me with latte art!
It is made by Azlan the waiter!

Beside coffee, they served us ice water which they don't provide for other customer.
Exclusively for us.
hahaha, they really want to impress Reetha!

Clock stroke to 12am and I am finally 20!

We approximately had took food nearly to RM400, and it is FREE OF CHARGE!
My birthday is sooo happy.

By the time reached 12, my phone started to ring frequently with a lot of wishes from friends!
