About 2 weeks ago, my parents were kind and generous enough to let me bring the car to KL for one week (upon request!).
I was driving my mom's Suzuki Grand Vitara, a car I was never familiar with. I always refuse to drive her car because first it is big and I never understand how the brake works.
Too bad they weren't confident with myvi and said the tyre is not safe for long journey. There's some bonus for driving that big car is, i'm a newbie so is safer and I can bully small car. Fine. =D I'm happy, overall.
For one week driving around in town, I sort of understand why shen yee keep telling me driving in KL isn't fun at all.
Why it wasn't fun is of course the unavoidable, traffic jam everywhere at peak hour/dinner hour/lunch hour. As bangsar is so near to the place I'm staying, I have to travel for 20 freaking minutes to reach there. wth. If I'm in kuantan, I can travel from Air Putih until Wong Ah Jang or even further.
Next thing is the driver's driving attitude! Oh come on, imma newbie! Because the GPS fucked up constantly so I was forced to slow down to let it reconnect to the satellite then not more than 1 sec I heard hons. By slowing down means decelerating slowly, not stepping the brake abruptly.
And lastly, the car is a HUGE fuel burner! I spent so much on petrol and the thing is dad made me bear all the cost myself. ARGH. Can feel my purse dripping blood. Over my budget because I never expected it'll be this costy.
Anyway, since it was just a week, so it doesn't affect much.
It was a pretty productive week.
As I met up with people whom I never meet for years, drove my beloved hostel mates to places they haven't been and I have more choices on lunch and dinner!
As for food, I had pork mee that I've longed for!
I also went Checkers for dinner and after that I drove 3 monkeys and 1 alien to Putrajaya for late night view!
The 3 monkeys are Teresa, Jimmy and Soo Yee.
As they were playing and having fun like kids on the way to Putrajaya and on the way back, they slept soundly like tired kids. I dont even know they were asleep until ET told me. Kids don't tell you when they want to sleep right? -.-
ET and I were the calm and cool ones, looking at the GPS and road signs like papa and mama.
On Wednesday night I drove Reetha, Soo Yee, Jimmy, Teresa and Catherine to the longest night market in Malaysia. It was the first time for everyone except Catherine and I. I dreamt for this and now it came true! I hope you guys enjoyed. (I received complaints that Jimmy was not in the mood because he was sick!)
I always have this small little wish that I can bring them to pasar malam. I'm happy as long as they're happy.
As for people I haven't met for years, first one is Pen Nee. hehe, I think she looks hot. I wonder how she changed since she went to UK. She did in a good way. =Doooh, im missing my long hair now.
we had a late night karaoke session and there's 8 of us. the song choice in AmpSquare is really limited. and and and, it's only 3 hours =(too much of flash.
Second one is Wai Shan!
Oh my, since she came to KL to study I have not really sit down and talk to her.
Then she left to UK for her economics study, the lesser chance I can meet her. I do met her few times in some occasion but those was just hi bye (I didn't make a conversation because I was shy).
She was back last few months for holidays and internship. I was going to ask shen yee out but then she told me she's meeting wai shan so yeah, like finally. I'm really delighted of meeting her. Gathered at snowflakes subang then asia cafe as we don't want to occupy the seats in snowflakes.
We had an enjoyable and lovely talk about the beautiful memories of our school time. Aww. I realized that we're all adults now because we were talking about our teenage memories. Despite the horrible feelings of driving alone to Subang without the GPS, the whole night was awesome and i felt blissful.
Glad to know that she's doing great and shan, you have a bright future ahead, all the best!
Next is Reetha. I really can't remember when is the last time we hang out together like we did last time. I picked her up for lunch and we strolled around Bangsar at the hot afternoon of Friday. Bangsar is a really nice place for shopping. Both of us bought a top! Hers is white and I got a black one. I really enjoy every moment with Reetha. Again, I felt blissful.
I even went to One Utame three times in that week. Each time is with Soo Yee's accompaniment. First time I went to collect my purse, second time she went to collect her bus ticket and I bought 5 packets of rabbit food. Third time is to send her there but ended up having our lunch there.
Finally, friday is the day I have to drive the car back to my mom! I was lucky enough to have a big pour that morning that it washed off all the bird shits on the car.
Thank you mr. yeo for accompanying me.Spot my new neon yellow hoodie? I fell in love with it on the first sight in g.a.p. It is warmy~ How could I not love it.
My sister then told me something when im purchasing it. I won't be realizing if she hasn't tell me : All my hoodies are in bright colour. Purple lah, orange lah, then now, yellow.
My stuffs are always in bright colours and on contrary, limiki's will always be colours in winter or autumn. She rarely have things with brilliant colour. It's natural. We're always opposite.
That's all about my one week of driving in town! Like I mentioned, it was a fun experience because of the convenience of accessing to everywhere.
Regarding the last post, I now look like this : =3
plus a very fake smile to make it less childish.
