JBA on leave!

Underground pipe outside my house broke and leak on the road since yesterday morning.
Few residents nearby face difficulties with water supply (including my house!).
We have no water to do cleaning jobs and to cook drinking water, how inconvenient.

Water that leaks out formed a river.
Yoohoo! I live at riverbank!


Me and my neighbour coincidently phoned JBA to complain this problem.
We got replied :" Kita tengah membaiki paip bocor di tempat lain, akan pergi ke tempat kamu secepat mungkin! "

Oh yeah, their secepat mungkin is the NEXT DAY MORNING.

My neighbour told me maybe their worker on leave because now is Hari Raya.
Everyone isn't around but they dare not to tell us that.

Obviously, JBA is a slow work rate department.
We saw burst pipe everywhere and it may last for a few days.

Maybe is the problem of the resident not telling the problem to JBA and hope other will call it and sit there wait for the JBA to come.

You know, typical Malaysian thinking : Aiyah, sure got people call one!
(luckily my dad don't have the thinking, he made the calls everytime.)

JBA do received the complains but didn't come immediately.

Me as a half environmentalist feels grieve for watching the water flows for one day and night.

It is not worth to waste the clean water.
So after dinner, I carried two bucket outside and fill the water in.
We may not use it to clean dishes and do laundry but can use it to wash the floor what.

The fully-filled bucket was heavy.
I wished I have potential in carry heavy things =( Dad lent me his hand.
Those water is wasted at last, because my mum poured it away on her reason the water is useless.
*@#^%*&@ Free water are useless. What the.
Those water we use everyday ran through the meter and we have to pay every mililiter!

Finally this morning, JNA came and fixed it.
Good to see the workers are back.
The river is gone and I have a small dessert out there.
They left us alot of sands.

Besides my house, I saw leaking pipes at Air Putih & Sri Kuantan as well.
My dad said the JBA increased the pressure during Raya to ensure everyone has water to use, so those old twenty years old underground pipe cannot tahan, so, broke.
