I woke up at 6am, studied for 5 hours and spent the other 3 hours watching movies.
So far my day was hot, literally as the sun is blazing, making the city a slow pressure cooker!
You know it's a hot summer day where the air blown out by the fan is hot, cold shower doesn't help, ice water isn't ice enough, various of insect buzzing and minimal wind. Nothing seems to help to bring down the room temperature!
I can be topless and still feel hot.
(Literally! I know any naked girl is hot.)
Can't wait for sun to set.
There's this very beautiful thing in UQ St Lucia campus - Jacaranda.
They say when u see it starts to bloom, it means it's time to study. And there's a very interesting urban myth going around, that you can't let any purple flowers hit your head or else you'll fail in your exam! Funny isn't it? But I believe.
The other day I saw some Uni boys playing around and they were throwing the flowers to each other. I was like : 'Hah! Now u gonna fail all the subjects!'
The campus turned into a very romantic place because it has alot of this plant and they're planted in rows at the lakeside.
Here's a photo of the pretty jacaranda trees in UQ.
It was a very beautiful spring Sunday afternoon when I took this photo. Instead of busy university student, I saw a few family gathered around and did picnic, kids hung on thick, low tree branches and the most lovely part- couples in wedding dress shot their wedding photos with a background filled with the lilac purple of Jacaranda.
