Google Translate & Facebook

Speaking about how Google made my day. The other day I came across this interesting thing.

That is if you type 'agar' on Google Translate and make it translate from 'Malay to Chinese', you'll get things like this :

What? ' 注册Facebook! 'Means : Sign up for Facebook. And there's a exclamation mark! haha.

Then I copy the whole thing and palce it inside the translate box, still remain ' Malay to Chinese '
and it came out this :

注册了! Means : Signed up!

Interesting eh?

Then I double the word to agar agar.

在Facebook上注册.

Copy & paste,

It rushed me to sign up on facebook.

haha.

Then I change to 'Malay to English' to see what agar really means.

AND.............................

It means Facebook.

Really?

This show how unreliable is Google Translate. Especially Malay to Chinese.
To strenghen my point, look at how the organizer Google translated the Malay word to Mandarin during the welcome ceremony of Wen Jia Bao in Malaysia at Putrajaya. One of the big joke of the year! Mr. Wen must be very confuse by reading the sentence that doesn't make sense at all.
