清明 Qing Ming

清明时节雨纷纷

路上行人欲断魂..

This poem made the best description of Qing Ming.
I didn't pray my ancestors on the exact date but this year I did.
For the past years, we seldom met the rains.
Usually the sun shone brightly and the weather is freaking hot.

This year, it rains.

We believe that it rains on the exact day because the God feels sad for the passed aways, so he cries.


I woke up around 6am, wow, have not get up this early since last November.
There was a heavy rain outside the window.
While I was wondering whether we are to follow the plan and to pray under the rain, it stopped.
Good sign. Today's weather will be a fine weather.

I reach my grandfather's grave around 7am.
Once we arrived, we are quite worry that it will rain again because there is a thick and dark cloud above us.

Soon, some of my uncles had arrived and quickly we start to pray to avoid the rain.

Gold and silver papers were folded in few ways and burn to our ancestors.

After that, we had a mini picnic.
lolz. I had some fried chicken and some dumplings.
