I had a pretty interesting holiday in Kuantan before I come to Brisbane, even though it is short. One of the interesting thing I did is I visited a loooooooooooong beach at Kuantan, which obviously isn't Teluk Cempedak, with harn wei & shen yee. Did picnic and had a great afternoon at the beach.
Well, thanks to our explorer shen yee, she is the one who brought us there.
At first the plan is to have a nice picnic by the beach, then take off the clothes and bath ourselves in seawater. Due to the lack of motivation to take of the clothes, we didn't follow the plan but the day did end with surprise!
We found STARFISH! That's why it's on the title. Will talk about it later, I'll start with places we visited before the beach.
I first went to harn wei's house to meet them as they were preparing the sandwiches (super delicious!) and lemonade.
As we drove by the destination, I was really amazed that Kuantan has this beautiful place that I never know. Feel shame because I live in this town for 20 years but have no idea about this place.
And finally we reached one of the destination, the scenic view of coconut trees is so beautiful, the pathway is the bonus.
Remember during our art class, we're always asked to draw 椰树风光 (translate : coconut trees scenery) . To be honest, I've never really seen one because I've never been to a place like this. So everything I drew is based on the memory of pictures or what my friend drew.
It's so tropically beautiful.
It'll be a really good background, so we all wanna do this jumping pose.
We had some technical difficulties while taking the photos. First, we doesn't have a tripod to stabilize the camera. In the end, we had to fix it on car's wiper carefully.
Second, we don't know how to estimate the timer. We know it's 10second, but the LED light didn't blink clearly. So shen yee has to shout like : JUMP!!!! then harn wei & I jump.
She's the one who knows when will the camera capture, harn wei & I were plainly waiting for her command. So there's alot of failed shot that Shen Yee is jumping while harn wei & I are PREPARING (FEET STILL TOUCHING THE GROUND) HAHAHA.
Still we got a successful shots.
I think we jumped around 20 times to get that. We're tired after that chaos. There's some wooden house in front of us, few kids stood there and looked at us. If i'm them, I'd LOL because it's funny. Imagine 3 girls suddenly showed up in front of your house, made noise then keep jumping on the spot for the camera.

This video is about ee loe wanna take video of the goats, harn wei volunteered to add in some effect of sound of goat and the rest is just crazy.
Time was running out, sun was going to set, so we rushed back to our destination - the beautiful beach.
There's green field & trees along the beach, isn't it a very ideal place for picnic?

Shen brought her frisbee and we played by the beach. Hah. No photos taken during the game because we're too busy to play a perfect round.

The weather was fine with gentle sea breeze. Slow heaving of the sea with waves that do not break. The water was calm and the tide was going out.
Now comes to the highlight of the day, starfish!
We're excited when we found one.
At the end of the day, we found 5!
Five of them!
I'm really happy because they're alive!
The last time I saw a school of starfishes was years ago when they're washed up by the tide and half-dead under the strong sun. It was pathetic and I didn't enjoy of meeting them struggling between death & alive.
I know starfish has to be in the water so we took it out, take a photo and put it back immediately!
I took one too.

That's all about my beautiful evening! I actually recorded the whole process of finding 5 starfish but it's too long to be uploaded on YouTube and I'm kinda lazy to cut it so it'll be kept as personal collection!
